Salad Special on International Yoga Day


Ingredients:

1. 1/2 cup watermelons (cut them in cube shape)
2. 1/2 cup cucumber (cube shaped)
3. 1/2 cup carrot (boiled & cut in cubes)
4. 1/2 cup apple (cut them in cube shape)
5. Fresh cherry (desired quantity as you feel) 
6. 1/4th cup roasted peanuts
7. 2 tbs honey
8. 2 tbs lime juice 

9. 1 tea spoon red chilli flakes
10. 1 tea spoon red black pepper
11. Few lime leaves  

Method:

Mix all cut fruits and vegetables in a salad bowl. Now make a dressing with with honey, lime juice, pepper, red chilli flakes. 

Toss the fruits and vegetables with the dressing and sprinkle some roasted peanuts.

Make a bed of green lime leaves on a serving plate and assemble the salad on that.

Drizzle some honey from the top. 

PS: Lime leaves will add some extra aroma to the salad

Keshari Bhapa Doi: A Bengali Delicacy

Ingredients:

1. One & half cup hung curd
2. 1/2 cup condensed milk
3. 1/2 cup fresh cream
4. One table spoon powdered sugar
5. Few strings of saffron (kesar)
6. Few cherries for garnishing. 


Method:

1. Preheat your oven 120 degree Centigrade.
2. Now blend all ingredients  to a smooth mixture except cherries.
3. Pour the mixture into a microwave safe bowl.
4. Sprinkle some saffron strings from the top.Now keep that bowl on a flat oven-proof dish or or a tray which is half filled with water.
5. Bake (better to say "steam") for 12 minutes in convection mode at 120 degree Celsius.
6. Cool the bhapa doi till it comes to the room temperature. 
7. Keep in to the fridge for 2 hours. 
8. Garnish with Cherries and serve with a dash of mango.

Italian Almond Biscotti



Kids often refuse to take almonds and you feel upset being deprived of adding healthy nutrients. Don't worry try Italian Almond Biscotti at home.

Ingredients

-All purpose flour: 2 cups
-Castor Sugar: 1 cup
-Egg: one
-For Egg less: 1 Tbsp yoghurt and 2 Tbsp milk
-Chopped, roasted almonds: 1/2 cup
-Baking Soda: 1Tsp
-Butter: 3/4th cup







Methods

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a bowl and prepare a semi-hard dough

Step 2: Give the shape of cookies according to your choice.

Step 3: Bake the cookies in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes at 200 degree C

Step 4: Take out the cookies from the oven. It may have bit soggy texture which will be automatically managed with air contact. It will turn crispy within five minutes
